Mayong Suryo Laksono joined the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission as a Commissioner in 2016. Prior to that he worked as a journalist and editor for a number of reputable magazine programmes and press works, most recently as editor in chief of Motorride Magazine. He continues to work in television and is a well-known personality as the host of a programme on RCTI (a television channel in Indonesia).
Mr Laksono lectures widely at universities in journalism and media related subjects.
