Asia PacificThis is an area of rapid technological development where the IIC has four active chapters running events and producing reports on trends and challenges in the region.

IIC members focus on regulatory tools to address market power, ensure contestability, and support innovation.
Next-Generation Connectivity and Spectrum ManagementIIC members evaluate spectrum allocation models, spectrum valuation, shared use regimes, licensing and monitoring innovations, and the role of governments in delivering universal access.
Sustainable Investment and Digital Infrastructure DevelopmentIIC members examine investment incentives for sustainable infrastructures and equipment models, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) -aligned infrastructure planning, multi-stakeholder governance structures, and regulatory conditions that foster innovation while protecting consumers.
Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies: Governance, Accountability and Ethical InnovationIIC members examine the regulatory, ethical and societal implications of these technologies, focusing on transparent and accountable AI systems, safety-by- design, responsible data use, algorithmic oversight, cross-border governance, and methods to mitigate risks such as bias, misinformation, manipulation, and systemic harm.
