The Telecommunications and Media Forum meets three times a year in different locations around the world, including annually in Brussels and Washington DC.
Each Forum meeting is designed on a "working group" format to promote interactive discussion among speakers and participants, and focuses on telecommunications and convergence with media in the region and looks at the evolution of policy from deregulation to the management of open competition. Participation is limited to a selective group of approximately 50 senior representatives from the industry.
We also work regularly with organisations such as the Federal Communications Commission in the USA, the European Commission, regulators in Asia and Australia, and OFCOM in the UK. The Telecommunications and Media Forum is an ideal networking facility and provides the opportunity to meet with regulators as well as telecommunications operators and media content providers worldwide.
The programme for each meeting is designed in close consultation with Forum members. Discussions and presentations are highly interactive and participatory. Forum meetings ensure freedom and openness of exchange between participants.
